Terms of Service
Last updated: September 27, 2026
These Terms explain the rules that apply when accessing or using the CarryLink marketplace and its package-delivery services.
1. About these Terms
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of CarryLink, including CarryLink accounts, package-delivery workflows, traveler services, Partner Location services, payment and escrow functions, tracking, communications, disputes, and related platform features.
By creating an account or using CarryLink services, you agree to follow these Terms and any additional policies that apply to the service you use. If applicable law gives you rights that cannot lawfully be limited by these Terms, those rights continue to apply.
2. CarryLink's role
CarryLink operates a marketplace and technology platform that connects senders with travelers and coordinates package movement through CarryLink Partner Locations. CarryLink does not operate its own transportation fleet merely by providing the marketplace.
Travelers may use transportation associated with their planned routes, including supported air, road, rail, bus, truck, or other available modes. CarryLink provides platform functions intended to support matching, verification, payments, custody records, tracking, notifications, and controlled handoffs.
3. Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate information when creating and using a CarryLink account and must keep account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your account except where applicable law provides otherwise.
Certain CarryLink roles or activities may require identity verification or other eligibility checks. CarryLink may restrict access to functions that require verification until the applicable requirements have been completed.
4. Sender responsibilities
Senders are responsible for providing accurate package, recipient, route, value, contact, and other requested information and for ensuring that a package is lawful and suitable for the proposed transportation route.
A sender must not use CarryLink to ship prohibited, illegal, dangerous, falsely declared, or otherwise unauthorized items. Senders are responsible for complying with applicable customs, import, export, aviation, transportation, and other legal requirements relating to their packages.
5. Traveler responsibilities
Travelers must provide accurate trip and route information, follow the accepted CarryLink delivery workflow, protect packages while in their custody, and complete required pickup, transportation, handoff, and verification steps.
A traveler must not intentionally bypass CarryLink's controlled handoff, security, tracking, custody, or payment processes for a delivery arranged through the platform.
6. Partner Locations and controlled handoffs
CarryLink uses Partner Locations to support controlled package handoffs. The intended workflow does not require a sender and traveler to meet directly. Packages may be received, secured, released, transferred, and collected through authorized Partner Location processes.
CarryLink may use package photographs, custody events, QR security controls, PINs, timestamps, user records, and other verification information to document package movement and handoffs.
7. Matching and delivery arrangements
CarryLink may suggest compatible travelers or routes, but a suggested match does not itself create an accepted delivery arrangement. A traveler may apply to carry a package and the sender may approve an application through the platform.
Availability, routes, timing, Partner Locations, transportation conditions, border procedures, customs processes, and other factors can affect whether and when a delivery can be completed.
8. Payments, escrow and fees
CarryLink may require a sender to fund the applicable delivery amount before the delivery proceeds. Funds designated for the delivery are recorded through CarryLink's payment and escrow workflow and are not released to the traveler merely because a package has been posted or matched.
CarryLink's current platform-fee calculation is 20% of the agreed traveler reward, with the remaining 80% of that reward forming the traveler payout. Any applicable insurance fee is handled separately from that reward-based platform-fee calculation.
Payment processing may be provided by third-party payment providers, including Stripe. Additional details about payment release are provided in the CarryLink Escrow Policy.
9. Delivery completion and payment release
CarryLink records delivery and custody events throughout the workflow. Recipient collection does not by itself release traveler payment. After final delivery and collection have been verified, the escrow can become eligible for release through the applicable CarryLink process.
The package sender ordinarily authorizes release of the funded escrow after the required delivery conditions have been satisfied. CarryLink also maintains an administrator-authorized override for appropriate platform administration. Duplicate payment releases are blocked by the platform workflow.
10. Cancellation and refunds
A sender may cancel a package only while the package remains within a stage that CarryLink permits to be cancelled. Once transportation has progressed beyond the permitted cancellation point, cancellation may be unavailable.
For a funded package that qualifies for cancellation, CarryLink attempts to refund the original payment method before marking the package cancelled. If the required payment refund cannot be completed, the platform may prevent the package from being marked cancelled until the payment issue is resolved.
11. Disputes
Eligible senders and travelers may use CarryLink's dispute process for a delivery before escrow or payment has been released. CarryLink may request or consider package records, custody information, photographs, communications, uploaded evidence, tracking information, payment records, and other relevant information when administering a dispute.
A new dispute cannot be opened after payment has already been released through the completed delivery workflow. Additional information is provided in the CarryLink Dispute Resolution Policy.
12. Platform communications and records
CarryLink may provide service communications, notifications, tracking updates, security messages, payment information, dispute notices, and other operational communications relating to use of the platform.
Users must not manipulate, falsify, interfere with, or intentionally circumvent CarryLink custody records, verification controls, tracking information, evidence, payment records, or security functions.
13. Suspension and misuse
CarryLink may restrict, suspend, or take other appropriate action concerning access to the platform where reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate suspected fraud or misuse, enforce platform requirements, respond to security concerns, or comply with applicable law.
Nothing in this section prevents CarryLink from preserving records or cooperating with lawful requests where required or permitted by applicable law.
14. Service availability
CarryLink may update, maintain, modify, suspend, or discontinue platform features as operational, security, legal, or technical requirements change. CarryLink does not guarantee that every route, traveler, Partner Location, payment method, or platform feature will be available at every time or in every location.
15. Privacy and cookies
CarryLink's handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. Information about cookies, browser storage, privacy choices, and optional analytics is provided in the Cookie Policy.
16. Changes to these Terms
CarryLink may update these Terms as the platform, services, operational requirements, or applicable legal requirements change. Material changes will be reflected by updating these Terms and, where required, providing additional notice.
